A special thank-you to our promoters, readers and benefactors
Through the generosity of our Promoters, most of our readers are able to receive The Messenger at the lowest possible cost. Thank-you.
Be assured that The Lord will bless you for your help in making better known His name and the love of His heart.
Thank-you also, to all of you who have sent donations for the spread of devotion to the Sacred Heart and for other good causes. You are all remembered in our prayers and Masses.
John Looby, S.J.

2009 Promoter’s Masses of Thanksgiving
The annual Masses of Thanksgiving are celebrated across four different venues in Ireland each year in the month of June, the month dedicated to devotion of the Sacred Heart.
This year they were held in:
 |
St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford on Friday June 5 |
 |
Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin on Tuesday June 9 |
 |
SS Peter & Paul, Clarecastle on Friday June 19 |
 |
St Francis Xavier, Gardiner St, Dublin 1 on Tuesday June 23 |
We aim, as much as possible to make these Masses a community event and wish to extend our sincere thanks to all who made such a valuable contribution – the local Parish Priest and chaplain, the organisers, singers/musicians, readers, all who helped in the Offertory procession, and certainly not forgetting those who so willing gave over their local Parish hall/school and their time, to provide refreshments after the Mass.
The Masses are held for the intentions of all our voluntary promoters, their families and loved ones, and all Promoters over the years. Without your tireless and dedicated work, many of our readers would not be able to receive the Messenger each month. Our sincere thanks.
If you would like to become a Promoter, or if you would like us to hold one of the four annual Masses in your Parish next year, please contact manager@messenger.ie, or Phone: 01 6767491.
